As you may be aware we are holding our 5th Pink Weekend over the 18th and 19th August. In the past the weekends have been a tremendous success with unbelievable amounts of money being raised for Breast Cancer Charities. To date we have raised a little over £51.000 in 4 years which for a Club of our size is fantastic.

For anyone who still wishes to buy one of the Pink Players Kits there are a couple left at £50 each and they really are a one off kit. The players will take off the kit after the match and they are presented to the buyers and they are not played in again. Some have bought them each year and they are becoming collectors items, so please let me know if you are interested.

Anyone still wishing to have a logo put on the kit can also contact me as we still have a week or so to complete them, but they are looking Pink!!.

We are holding our usual cake and coffee on Friday afternoon (17th) and for those who want a little more you can have a Pink afternoon tea, any donations of cakes would be gratefully received.

Talking of donations we are again begging for any tombola items. Everyone has an unwanted present in their house and if you find any then we need them. Any donations can be dropped off at the Club or the shop or if you give me a ring I can collect

The Wembley walk is taking place on Saturday 25th August walking the 10K from London Broncos to Wembley and everyone who took part last year said it was a great day so if interested let me know, you know where I am

There will be entertainment all day on the Sunday but on Saturday there will be Batley Boys games, rides, slides and stalls so if you’re free then come and join in.
