The Fox’s Biscuits Stadium will stage the pivotal fixture in a three-match Women’s Origin series between Yorkshire and Lancashire. The game takes place next Wednesday, 11th March. Admission will be £5 Adults, £1 Junior and Kick off is 7pm.

Craig Richards, the England Women Head Coach, today announced a 39-player National Performance Squad for 2020 – and their first chance to impress him will be during the forthcoming Origin series.

The series will begin at Weetwood in Leeds on Saturday, setting the stage for the second match at Mount Pleasant on March 11, kicking off at 7pm – with the concluding match back at Weetwood on Sunday week (March 15).

Richards said: “We’ve already had a couple of squad sessions this year, and now the girls are all looking forward to the Origin series.

“As we’ve seen from previous games, including at the Summer Bash in Blackpool last year, there’s a great rivalry between Lancashire and Yorkshire – and it’s a great way to set the scene ahead of the start of the Betfred Women’s Super League season later this month.”
