The injury list seems to be growing by the day for The Bulldogs.
Shaun Ainscough is awaiting a scan but could well be out for the rest of the season following a bad ankle injury at the weekend. James Davey has a slight groin strain, Patch Walker will have a fitness test before Sunday’s tie, Dom Brambani could be out for up to 6 weeks with a foot injury.
Add these to the already missing Dane Manning, James Brown and Tom Lillycrop who are still a few weeks away from a return, along with Wayne Reittie, also awaiting another scan in the next few days.
The club have today moved to bring in two exciting youngsters to add depth to the squad, with Hooker Reiss Butterworth joining on loan for a month from Bradford Bulls, and Half-Back Danny Sowerby, who has already spent a great deal of time with the squad, signing a contract with the Bulldogs
