There will be one extra Heavyweight on the field when The Bulldogs entertain Toronto Wolfpack at the end of June, as Doncaster based Boxer Dave Allen is hoping to attend the game, as a guest of club sponsors Signature Resin Floors.
After knocking out Lucas Browne at the O2 last weekend, the boxer, managed by Eddie Hearn, put his gold shorts up for charity auction, and they were bought by the team at Signature Resin Floors, who invited Dave along to the Toronto fixture to present them on the field. This latest celebrity encounter follows from their recent video with football legend Ally McCoist in a Bulldogs shirt, which caused a storm on social media!
There will be a carnival atmosphere on the day as The Wolfpack line up in a special edition red kit to celebrate Canada Day, which falls in the same weekend.
Batley Bulldogs v Toronto Wolfpack, in the Betfred Championship, takes place on Sunday June 30th at The Fox’s Biscuits Stadium.
