Great news ahead of tomorrow’s Heavy Woollen Derby against neighbours Dewsbury Rams, as hugely popular hooker Alistair Leak commits another year to The Bulldogs.

A 100% attitude, weaving runs and tough defence soon made “Leaky” a huge crowd favourite at Batley & though primarily playing in the hooking position he has also featured at half-back when called upon.

With 109 appearances and 36 tries for the club he is a vital member of the squad, and we’re delighted to see him stay at The Fox’s Biscuits Stadium for 2019.
