An determined Bulldogs side ran out 30-14 victors over Dewsbury Rams at The Summer Bash in Blackpool.

After taking an early 10 point lead through Keenen Tomlinson & Johnny Camplbell, Matt Diskin’s side had to show patience and some resolute defence as Dewsbury pressed for long period. Late tries from Brearley, Leak and Scott, and 5 Jouffret kicks, sealed the win for Batley following an outrageous try saving tackle from Sam Smeaton.

The Rams hit back with two quick tries in the dying minutes of the tie.
