Before yesterday’s game Winger Wayne Reittie was presented with a commemorative shirt to celebrate his 100th appearance for the club. In 2 Spells with The Bulldogs Wayne has registered an impressive 50 Tries and the presentation was made on behalf of the club by former Batley star John McGowan, himself a free scoring back with a fine total of 86 Tries.

Head Coach Matt Diskin said “100 appearances for any club is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates the crucial contribution Wayne makes to our group. Player Milestones are very important and something we feel should be recognised a theme which will continue under my tenure here at Batley Bulldogs.”
