Bulldogs’ Head Coach Matt Diskin was pleased with this side’s performace at Odsal Stadium in the opening Yorkshire Cup fixture, and is looking forward to a difficult tie this Sunday.

“I was really happy with our shape against Hunslet, We defended well against a quality attack and to keep a score to zero against any opposition is impressive. With the ball I thought we played some great rugby.
We were fast and created lot of problems for Hunslet. We still have work to do for the start of the league campaign, but things are coming together and the progress so far is very good.”

“York will present us with different challenges and this is sure to be a tough and exciting game. It’s one we’re really looking forward to.”
