Matt Diskin’s men produced a fabulous performance to overcome full time opponents Leigh Centurions at the Leigh Sports Village.

After racing into an 8 point lead with tries from the ever impressive Lewis Galbraith and Johnny Campbell they found themselves on the wrong side of a 10-8 scoreline at halftime after the home side rallied. Dave Scott levelled the scores with a penalty just after the break before a Ben Reynolds Try put the hosts back in front.

From then on The Bulldogs regained control and some scintillating rugby saw Dave Scott dive over to level the scores, Johnny Campbell grabbed his second from a perfect Jouffret kick after a brilliant break from Brambani, and Frenchman Jouffret put the seal on the win with a stunning individual try.

Coach Diskin was thrilled with the performance. “I thought today from 1 to 17 we were magnificent. We dominated a very string Leigh side for the majority of the game. The pack was outstanding and some of the play from our backs a pleasure to watch”

The Bulldogs will look to finish the 2018 campaign wth 6 straight wins this coming Sunday when Swinton Lions are the visitors to the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium, 3pm Kick Off.
