With Francis Maloney out of action for several weeks, Bulldogs head coach Gary Thornton has secured the services of Keighley Cougars stand-off Adam Mitchell on a month's loan. Mitchell has found it difficult to break into the Cougars set-up of late after battling back from injury, but when we caught up with GT on Thursday he was pleased with his acquisition: "Adam is a quality stand-off I have always admired, who has been blighted with injury over the past two seasons. With Keighley going so well in NL2 at the moment his chances have been limited. I'm sure he'll be chomping at the bit to prove his worth". |

The Bulldogs Reserves fixture against Sheffield Eagles has been re-arranged to be played at home on the 26th April, with a 2.30pm kick off. Get along and support the boys.

A disappointing performance from the 'Dogs today saw them fall to a 26-12 defeat at the hands of local rivals Dewsbury Rams at the Mount in the Challenge Cup Fourth Round. Danny Maun notched two tries, but it was a futile effort as the Rams exacted revenge for our recent NL1 victory at the Tetley's Stadium. |
